How do Americans feel about news of the royal baby?

A few days ago, the renowned Washington Post sent me a text alert stating that the royal baby had arrived. Staring at my phone I thought "Well cool, but who cares?" . So I went to twitter asking the question; what do you think of the royal baby? A few people didn't take the question all that serious responding with "I was offended that they weren't talking about Blue Ivy (child of world famous Jay Z and Beyonce )" and a simple "Seems chill." One twitter user however, responded with a more conscious tone; Elizabeth Washington said, "he's nothing really special, he farts and burps like all other babies. He's just born into the "right" family." I couldn't agree more. I'm still trying to figure out why I got a text alert. It may be that the many people with functioning television sets and computers get so wrapped up in celebrities lives, that they feel the need to be a part of them in any way possible. I guess the appropriate thing to say is "Congrats Prince William and Kate." But they won't see this.

Hello there, I'm Demonshae and this is my blog. There is no central subject matter being talked about here, just a forewarning, but things you can look forward to are; music, fashion, art and something I'd like to call Aware Wednesdays. The blog posts for Aware Wednesdays are serious subject matter; ranging anywhere from topics on health, the government, and random stories that I find interesting.
